how to interpret the value of the cholesterol level?

I am hoping if someone can help me with these questions. We are having trouble understanding these numbers. One is this. Reason for 40%+ rise in LDL

My first lipid panel showed: TC=195, HDL=35,LDL=95, Triglycerides=325. At this same time abnormal liver function due to anti-biotics was shown.
