The cholesterol med WelChol may help patients with Type 2 diabetes
control both their cholesterol and blood sugar, a new study has
found. Tulane University researchers gave Type 2 diabetes patients
who were already taking metformin doses of WelChol. These patients
reduced both their glucose and cholesterol levels significantly
more than those who took a placebo.
