Does Lipitor Reduce Heart Attack Risk

A large study of health records in the United Kingdom suggests that
switching patients from Lipitor to Zocor increases their risk of
heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events by 30
percent. Researchers also found that patients who switched from
Lipitor to Zocor were more than twice as likely to stop taking
their meds than people who stayed on Lipitor.
