Foods For Lowering Cholesterol

The Food and Drug Administration has approved the
cholesterol-lowering drug Zetia for use with fenofibrate in
treating mixed hyperlipidemia. Mixed hyperlipidemia is a condition
characterized by elevated LDL ("bad") cholesterol levels, elevated
levels of triglycerides, and reduced levels of HDL ("good")
cholesterol.
