Most heart patients have unhealthy cholesterol levels

Most people who suffer from heart disease don't reach doctor-recommended levels of bad cholesterol and other harmful blood fats, a new report suggests. Researchers looked at a large sampling of U.S. adults and found that 85 percent to 89 percent of people who did not have heart disease had recommended levels of bad cholesterol and triglycerides and healthy levels of good cholesterol.
