Lipitor Side Effects

Lipitor side effects same at high and low doses, says Pfizer

In a review of 49 studies, Pfizer says it has found no direct correlation between taking the highest dose of its statin drug Lipitor and experiencing potentially fatal side effects. The analysis, published in the American Journal of Cardiology, indicates that the rates of such problems as muscle, kidney, and liver damage while taking the highest dose of Lipitor were similar when taking the lowest dose-and not much higher than placebo.
