A recent survey has found that less than half of patients are
warned about the dangers of triglycerides even though high levels
of the fats can double the risk of coronary artery disease.
Researchers at The National Lipid Association suggest that patients
ask their doctors about their triglyceride levels, since
medications like Lopid, Lifibra, and Tricor are available to help
lower triglycerides and their associated risks.
