Statin Drug Cancer

A small study published in
Urology shows a link between taking statin drugs and a
decreased rate of recurrence of prostate cancer. The patients had
been treated with radioactive seed implants, known as
brachytherapy. The results follow a recent pronouncement by the
American Medical Association that statins do not improve cancer
outcomes.
