Study: Patients more likely to stay on Lipitor

Drugmaker Pfizer is reporting that patients who take the cholesterol-lowering drug Lipitor are more likely to stay on the medication than those given the generic form of Zocor. This finding is based on a study of 186,000 patients in a large U.S. managed healthcare claims database.
