Whole flaxseeds may lower cholesterol

The combined results of several studies suggest that adding whole flaxseeds--but not flaxseed oil--to your diet may help your lower cholesterol. The results from the studies showed that the seeds lower both overall cholesterol and bad cholesterol levels, though each study found that seeds reduced cholesterol with varying levels of success.  Read full story >
