Cholesterol tests can be simplified: study

British researchers say people's good and total cholesterol levels can be tested without requiring patients to fast, and without measuring their levels of triglycerides. The scientists say this simplified method is as accurate at measuring people's risk for vascular disease and current, more complicated methods.  Read full story >
