Statins May Protect Against Prostate Cancer Recurrence

Duke University researchers say men who take cholesterol-lowering statins are one third less likely to experience recurrences of prostate cancer than men who don't take the meds. But the scientists say their findings are too preliminary for prostate cancer survivors to demand their doctors prescribe them statins such as Lipitor, Zocor, or Crestor just yet.  Read full story >
