Menstrual Cycle May Affect Cholesterol Levels

According to a new study, women's cholesterol levels can fluctuate throughout their menstrual cycle because of changes in their levels of estrogen. The researchers say this finding may mean that doctors need to take several cholesterol readings over a period of months to get an accurate picture of a woman's cholesterol levels.  Read full story >
