Some Statin Users Don't Need Good Cholesterol Boost: Study

Conventional wisdom among heart experts has been that to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke, patients should lower their bad cholesterol and increase their good cholesterol. But results from a new study suggest that people with extremely low levels of bad cholesterol due to taking statins don't appear to benefit from increased levels of good cholesterol.  Read full story >
