Take a Statin with Your Burger, Scientists Say

British scientists say fast food restaurants should hand out a free cholesterol-lowering statin to their customers to offset the heart risks of eating fatty foods such as hamburgers, fries, and milkshakes. But other experts counter that taking a statin would not cut out the unhealthy effects of eating these foods, and that a better choice is for people to avoid eating them altogether.   Read full story >
