I had back surgery on the 13th of May. L4 & 5 with donor bone and a couple of screws for good measure. I was up doing stairs and walking the hall 24 hours after surgery and home 48 hours later. Yes, there was pain, but each day things got better, my brace and I became friends for 6 weeks and I learned to ask for help and let the housekeeping go. I still am not allowed to vaccum, wash floors or do the dishwasher, that too will come. Listen to the doctor(s) and don't over do.

I just want you to know that I will be praying for you. Surgery at anytime is not fun. Allow your body the time that it needs to heal. Put your feet up and take it easy. I'll be praying for your recovery.
