this is amazed and tomorrow is the day i have my back surgery, i have to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m. i will be the first on his list for the day. I guess it is better early when they are all fresh & ready to go. This is where the scarey time is starting for me. I just hope & pray that everything truns out good. I will not be on for awhile after tonight so good luck to every one who I have talked to on here. God Bless Amazed
Amazed well I bet you are you amazed yourself, I knew you had it in you !!!! sure hope you are doing much better and Iam getting that scary feeling also because I know theres more to it for me also surgury or opertion 1 or the orther this will me 5 yrs in a row, as you know I had back surgury in 2006 day after Christmas and had not gotton any better WORSE,I have been told dont over do it but living by yourself What can you do?? also my doctor wants to do the same as you know any feed back after your surgury would be greatly appreciated !!! Iam so happy the waiting period is over for you .love

I had back surgery on the 13th of May. L4 & 5 with donor bone and a couple of screws for good measure. I was up doing stairs and walking the hall 24 hours after surgery and home 48 hours later. Yes, there was pain, but each day things got better, my brace and I became friends for 6 weeks and I learned to ask for help and let the housekeeping go. I still am not allowed to vaccum, wash floors or do the dishwasher, that too will come. Listen to the doctor(s) and don't over do.
