dont know

By Samantha Millraney Friday, August 06, 2010

one night i was on my way to pick up my husband from work. I pulled up at a stop sign when a man walked up and asked me for some change. I gave him the change then he asked me for a cig i reached down to get it and the man grabbed my pocketbook so i grabbed it tryin to stop him. Then he hit me in the face and took off with my pocketbook. He did all of this with my two year old little girl in the car. He got over 400.00 in cash and my pain pills opana er 40 mg. The police and a detective came and the detective told me that my doctor had to refil them if i have a police report. Well when i called my doctor and told them what happen they said they wasnt going to do anything. i dont know what to do and i am hurting so bad ........

I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to you after such a kind gesture! You did exactly as you were supposed to do by reporting the incident to the police. Unless you've used the same story over and over again, your Dr should have taken your word along with the police report, and should have re-issued you your pain meds so that you wouldn't have had to go through any more undue pain than you had already been in!! Just  my opinion!! I would look for a more sympathetic Dr. if that had happened to me!! Good luck!! Stace
