I have a question, I went off all my oral pain meds in 6-11. Now I'm feeling all my pain. I looked into the pain pump. I'm now awaiting proir authorization from the Insurance. The Surgeon who is doing the pump won't be able to do it in sometime in 11-11. Meanwhile he wants me to stay off the oral meds. For tolerance reasons. Says he! Well I'm in sooo much pain I can't stand it nor live like this! I don't even know if I can hold out til Nov. as it I have an appt. with him to see if I can get some oral  meds to get me through. I also made a back up appt. with my old pain Dr. to. Because I can't handle the pain. I will have to consider going back on Orals. From what it sounds like with the research I did the pain pump has its problems, besides alot of the pumpsters are taking oral. can anyone advise PLEASE!!!DESPERATE. TY &GOD BLESS
