I live in Gwynn Oak, Maryland. About 20 years ago dr.s put me on prednisone. I am a former nursing tech. My big problems started with finding out that the steriod had eaten away the cartlidge in both my knees, which led to severe tears, injections etc. Finally a disability judge strongly suggested that I have knee replacement surgery. It was supposed to be 3 days and go home. I went in on Valentine's day and lft around March 3rd. During my stay my dr kept me on large amounts of narcotics. When I left I was given several scripts and no info abot the fact that I might be "medically addictted". I went into acute withdrawl and didn't understand what was going on and i also picked up a severe infection for which I had to have 6 wks. of antibiotics. The knee replacement came apart 3 months later. Now I am on 60mg tid- 15 mgq 4-6 hrs. and various other drugs. I have had several lower back procedures, my rt leg does not bend and I am in constant pain. Every joint in my body hurts. I have been diagnosed with diabetes type II,Fibromyalgia, acid reflux, arthritis, oa, nerve pain, neuropathy,etc. The reason I am putting this much info out is because everyday i feel like I am living in hell. I have seen so many dr's and no one can fix me. HELP!!!!!
