I haven't written for a long time so I thought I would give everyone a little update. I am still looking for work. I have so many resumes and applications floating around. Our house in Iowa is still for sale and it is close to foreclosure. I hope it sells before that F word happens. My RLS seems to be in full swing but I can't go to the doc until my husbands new insurance kicks in.I am so worried about Christmas this year! We have 3 kids ages 9,11&12. I have applied for unemployment and have a phone interview tomorrow to see if I qualify. I hope I get it so I can breathe easier. I can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving. Tomorrow I will be baking pumpkin pies and this Saturday we will be putting the Christmas tree up. We are still living in my husband's dad's basement and probably will until I find a job. The kids are doing great in school and they love it here. The only problem they do have is that we live in a basement. They can't wait until we have our own house because I have promised each one of them a sleepover with a few friends. Our 11 year old son just got glasses and he loves them. The state insurance we have only paid for the office visit so we shelled out 180.00 for the glasses. It is all good though because he needed them. I worry about money everyday. I know I shouldn't worry so much but I still do. I am losing weight again, but I always do at this time of the year. I have volunteered to help the school nurse with the gift wrapping for the Christmas baskets they send to needy families through the local Methodist church. I hope they don't get all churchy on me. I hope each and every one of you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
