About Me

It took ten years but Was DX'd in 2000 with Arnold Chiari Malformation. Had a Cranioctomy decompression in same year. Yeah that hurt really bad. It helped with some of the symptoms, especially being able to walk normally again or at all. Then need a shunt to control the intercranial pressue. Now have Arthritis in neck from surgery and uncontrollable pain. My two oldest daughters also have Chiari. Only the Middle child need the surgery. So far the youngest shows no symptoms. Currently and for the past 16 years have been a stay at home mom. Loved volunteering for the schools and community when able (yes I really did). Would love to do so again. Like to scrap book and use to do crafts. Now, would just like to be able to clean house and fix a good dinner again. Then get a part time job!! That would be Great. Hopefully one day soon.....
