I'm so happy for you, Adrian. You just sound so at peace, having made your decision. I went through something similar a few years ago. I, too, moved from Florida – only I came to East Tennessee. It's a nice climate that has all four seasons, but they are all mild. Best of all, I'm near my children and grandchildren as well as the mountains that I love. We each have to find the place that is right for us.
I wish you the very best as you prepare to move and begin your new life in Arizona!

Dear Adrian,
I always love to read your shareposts. They are insightful and stimulating. After reading this one, the word that came to mind imediately was peaceful. So when I read Karen's comment I had a small chuckle.
I am also very happy for you. What ever the next chapter of your life brings, I am sure you have grown from this experience. It is a wonderful thing to feel at peace. I still have some learning to do until I get there.
All the best,
DS Deb
