I'm glad to hear you've had some success with the guaifenisen protocol.  Some people with FM seem to be helped by it and others not – which, of course, is true of pretty much any FM treatment option.  I hope you continue to improve and have increasing numbers of pain-free days.

Thank you.  Please pass on this treatment option to others.  It has helped me.  I still need to be careful on how much I do and watch the diet and exercise.  I hope to improve.  Only time will tell.  Just pass on as an option.  God bless .

Thank you so much for the new site and your success with guaifenisen.  I have not heard about that and will be looking into that on Friday when it is not too late.  I have so much trouble FM and look for any thing  that might do it some good.

Thank you again and God Bless,

I would also like to recommend a fabulous site that is extremely informative!  I have been in pain for quite some time due to many traumatic events in my life.  I have seen so many doctors after a car accident, miscarriage, etc. and they all think it's in our heads.  Well, let me just say this:  It IS NOT just in OUR HEADS, it is TRUE PAIN!

    Check out: http://www.fms-help.com/homepage.htm

This is the most informative site I have found so far!  God Bless ~

Oh, Jan. Now that's just tacky. This is a great site. It's really tacky to come here and use the site, then try to send people elsewhere.

    Tacky, tacky, tacky!

    Dear Jon,

I think it would be most tactful with people in our condition to not judge.  I am already at the end of my rope as it is ~ be careful what you say on this site.

I AM careful what I say on this site. You don't have the market cornered on being at the end of your rope, but I'm not going to get into that old "my pain is worse than your pain" crap with you.

I stand by what I said. When you're on a site where people are doing their best to help you, it's tacky to be posting links to send them elsewhere. Your snappish reply to me shows me that there's no reasoning with you.

    Good luck,

    Jon

SmileThanks Jan for the site.  I appreciate any help I can get.  I open to other information.  It will come in handy.  Not taking anything away from this site.  It too has been a blessing to me.  Its helped me to know that Im not alone and their are others in the same dilema. Bless you and yours and lots of grace and strength to you and comfort in knowing that Christ is suffering right along with us.  Maryhelen

WinkJan,  I looked at the other site.  Theres good informatiion there from others who have been on this journey longer than us.  I like that we can help each other with any resources that are available to each of us.  Some work for some and some dont.  I do hope we can find something that will help us with all the different resources available.  I already have past it on to someone. Okay I'm out of here.  Its been a long day.  Need some rest. Bless you and keep looking up..........Maryhelen

Wink  Hello,  I'm so thankful you have found some relief.  My heart goes out to

you and cant imagine what you gone through to get where your at now.  I thank God

He's brought you relief unfortunately through the two unneeded surgeries.  If like me though you learned some things there.  Nothing is in vain with Christ.  Thanks for the site.  I'm home for the summer now.  Its been a real hard year.  Alot of physical, mental, and even emotional pain.  But I just live for each day and look to Him to give me the daily strength and just rest in His grace.  Okay, got to go.  Its memorial Day, I

thought I'd take some flowers to dad and moms gravesite at Ft. Sam Houston.  I really miss them.  I think of the many.  God be with you, my friend.   Sincerely, Maryhelen

CoolMy friend,   Its so good to know I'm not alone.  That others are looking for answers and supporting each other.  We need each other.  If it hadn't been for others I would

have already gone down.  Yeah, our genetic predisposition and being in a fallen world doesnt help.  Who knows, only God.  I don't fully understand but I know one thing that My Lord and King will help me and teach me as I go walk this journey of pain and suffering.  He will sustain me.  So, do what you can.  But ultimately look to Him daily to help you and to bring those that can.  My heart goes out to you.  I know pain that wont go away.  Its unbearable at times.  It keeps me humble and broken before My God and close to Him.  Who knows if not I would go my way and be self sufficient.  I dont wish this on anyone.  But I can to relate to others in these conditions and we can lean on each other and bring hope.  The hope of the Lord Jesus Christ and the future that awaits us.  There will be no pain there and that is true hope.  Right now, I will have to endure and perservere with His strength and Spirit...   I find rest their, at the work of the cross and just know His grace is sufficient as I go through this valley and its their He meets me.  Look to Him.  He loves us and is suffering with us.  You have blessed Memorial Day.  Theirs many in pain today.  Loss of loved ones, loss of mind, body, even heart to live.... were not alone.  Christ said He would never leave us nor forsake us and that nothing can seperate us from His love... that gives me hope today and the days to come...............Take care and keep in touch......Sincerely, Maryhelen

Glad to hear website to be helpful.  I suppose you mean the National Fibro Association.  Well, just so you know I have had to stop Gufenisin treatment and start a antidepressent to help me sleep and function.  I did that  for several months and still had the problem of sleeping.  So, I'm off the gufenisin.  Anyways thanks for the encouragement and just take one day at a time and live for that day and draw strength and grace from the Savior........maryhelenWink
