Thanks for writing this Chris. I listened to some of the testimony that day, and it was very disheartening to hear those numbers and some of the "questions" from our elected officials.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, Chris.  It's good to hear from someone who doesn't personally live with chronic pain but recognizes the huge cost of this epidemic both financially and in terms of human suffering.  Now if more of our representatives in Washington could just understand this as well, something might be done about it.
