I  have several birth defects, all in the muscularskeletal system.  I am 54 and now on early teacher retirement due to jaw and eye problems.  My jaws were rebuilt 20 years ago (and I have a good bite now ;) , but they just don't work well anymore.  I'm the only one I know to this extinct.  Not really TMJ, but of course falls in that category.  Also looking for a chronic pain support group in St. Louis to no avail.  I often worked with adults and children with disabilities, so grateful for all I have that works well!!

I also have had eye blepherospasms since before my first jaw surgery when a ligament snapped.  Anyone else?  thanks.
