    What a wonderfully written piece. Thank you so much for sharing it with us all.  I can relate all too well.  I find my voice in my pain all too often / or is that my pain in my voice? Either way it seems more cathartic to let it out than to bottle it up.  Be well & be blessed ~kat

    Thanks for your thoughtful comments. Pain may be your/our voice, but we needn't let it drown out the good of life, correct? I often lose sight of that.

    I feel more approval, too, when I keep silent about my pain. I just feel bad when I tell others that I have chronic pain, because I feel like I've put a burden onto them, and I'd rather be the one helping instead. I even feel bad about complaining to doctors, because they can't diagnose the pain and I don't want to make them feel bad because I think they are trying - they just can't help me. Your composition speaks to me -- thank you.
