Fibromaylagia

By C.Kudlacek Tuesday, May 29, 2012

I've had Fms/CFSD since '93 and wonder if it will get increasingly worse as I age , will my FMS problems get worse also? Like walker then wheelchair? I have BAD balance that seem to be getting worse. Any input would be great! Thanks!

Fibromyalgia Worse? Don't Blame the Weather

I've had fibromyalgia for 8 years and since I have started massage treatment once a week for 8 weeks and then once every 2 weeks, I have noticed my pain level has improved

I also worry about getting worse with age, but I seem to be doing pretty well.  I still work full time, use prescribed as well as alternative meds, relaxation techniques, epsom salt baths, walk for excercise and it all helps.

Keep up the good attitude!

Hello! I have had fibro since'98, and, unlike the previous correspondent, I have been getting worse with age. I went on a cane about 2000, due to repeated falls. i am still on the cane, and, when absolutely necessary, my wheelchair. I am now on pain management, on a heavy regimine of pain killers. These help but I still have breakthrough pain. I wish I had better news topost, but I am only one person. Best Wishes!
