I am a 23 year old who was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in November of 2006 after having severe abdominal pain. While undergoing an appendectomy, the surgeon also performed a bowel resection, which after biopsy, showed Crohn's. In January 2007 I had to have a side to side anastamosis due to a blockage. Now over a year later I am still having severe pain in the lower left quadrant of my abdomen which radiates to my lower back. After many, many tests it has been concluded that I am not having a flair up, but possible nerve damage causing my chronic pain. I am here to learn more about the treatment options, medical providers, and to communicate with others who have pain effect their lives daily.
