Because of years of back pain I can sleep only on my back with a 1/2 round foam pillow under my knees and A folded towel long enough to help me up by pulling on it . I have a lot of stiffness in the morning, usual for me , I have fibro. Some days I have so much pain in my back around my waist that I can not get up I have to take a flexeril and acetaminophen. I usually take my morning pills MS Contin and Synthroid at 6 ( I take it T.I.D.6 permits me to get up at 7 ) On these bad mornings I have to wait that the flexeril works and then I can get up.

Could it be that it is because I sleep only on my back and some organs press on my spine ? I can not sleep on the sides since I have back pain about 15 years .

I have good sleep now with a CPAP I can't remember sleeping so well . But sleeping a full night has it's conter action for me because I do not get up so much I have more pain, It is crazy before I had pain because I was not sleeping or not sleeping because of pain even if I had sleep problems since being a baby.What are the side effects of sleeping on the back. One good one is that I don't have wrinkles

Buying the TempurPedic bed was the best investment I've made. After a rollover car accident with serious neck and back injuries, I suffer from chronic pain issues. The bed is one of the few places that I can get comfortable and sleep for a few hours at a time. CAN NOT say that with the other beds I've had or tried.

Yes, these mattresses are the best. Less pain and more sleep is worth a small investment that will last over 20 years. I have even seen lightly used Tempur-Pedic mattress in the classifieds, on eBay, and on Craiglist too. Just put a mattress cover over it and a used one is as good as new.

Tempur-Pedic also makes a mattress topper if an entire mattress is just too much to afford.

I am just so happy with the Tempur-Pedic Cloud Supreme! BTW, some hotels use Tempur-Pedic mattresses exclusively and that makes traveling with pain so much easier.

because we can't buy and try and return I will find a hotel with them 2 stoke in one romantic night with hubby and the TRY.

I had enough of morning pain so I went and bought a Tempurpedic "cloud Supreme" It is on sale for now and I have 60 days sleep satisfaction. If I don't like it I can return it for $ 50.00 or take the one O liked on the list. I will come back after I tried it for a week.

BTW I learned that these returned idem are on sale in some warehouse sales of big chain. I wanted a new one.

Tempur-Pedic used to have a "hotel locator" on their site for finding places to stay with a comfortable bed. Now, that service seems to have been removed, sadly. I would contact the company directly because they must have a list still.

Here is one suggestion for those interested in visiting the beautiful state of Maine in Bar Harbor.

Reporting after 7 nights of "Cloud Supreme Tempurpedic" Supreme nights I am in heaven !! For the first time in years I get up in the morning with NO back pain and less stiffness all over . Is it the bed or the fibro in the clouds ?? I had to take NSAID for flare up of knee pain. I just can't remember if the times before I had less problems with my back but I doubt it. I had such a good night the first night. I bought the bed with a trying time of 90 nights and no fine if I buy an other one of about the same price. That one will never leave my home .I was a bit worry because my old mattress was a foam one too and many ple sleeping in it ( it's the guest room ) were please, just wait when they try this one. !
