Dear Dr Lasich - I'm six weeks post op spinal fusion surgery. Dec. 8, 2011 and then again eight days later I was in so much pain. The doctors went back in and found that a screw had broken by bone and some hardware was removed. My foot feels like it's on fire and top of my toes feels like someo...
This is scary because I have also had a fusion 2 yrs ago and 3 wks ago woke up in extreme pain and problems with my left leg, have to go back to the Dr. because it looks like a bone chip was found. As for nerve pain I could not tolerate the pills and discovered that if I smoked a bit of pot the nerve damage was reduced to a managable level. It works better than any pill I have been given. I wish you good fortune with your back in the future.
