Have you taken action yet? You know the old saying that goes something like, "If you are not part of the solution, then you're part of the problem."

There are three Pain Bills in Congress now: The National Pain Care Policy Act of 2007 (H.R.2994), the Veterans Pain Act of 2007 (S.2160), and the just introduced (by Congressman Loebsack from Iowa) Military Pain Bill of 2008, (H.R. 5465). PLEASE, if you have not done so already, go to www.painfoundation.org, click on TAKE ACTION and submit your e-mail/fax to your congressman and senator to ask for their suppor t of these bills. It is easy, and will only take 5 to 10 minutes.

If you do not let your member of Congress know that pain care and pain research is important, then there will be no federal support for treating pain and researching solutions for better pain care. It is that simple. PLEASE TAKE ACTION! www.painfoundation.org.
