First I really need to thank you, I was misdiagnosed and had bilateral tarsal tunnel on my feet, I came out of surgery with severe nerve damage to both feet, this is extremly rare and it has been extremly difficult to find help, I just moved from Mass to Flordia 3 1/2 weeks ago in hopes that swimming and taking small walks outside will help, it has been 4 years of pure hell and not one Doctor has been able to help, the only help they give is narcotics to help ease the pain, I went from 600mg morphine this past April down to less then 100mg, did this all myself, I am now taking vitamans from a great health store, I do not know what I would of done without the help of americanpainfoundation, I have put this site all over twitter, I am honored to be part of such a great cause, people need to be aware that severe pain is a disability and we need help.
Kindly, Janice Power

FINALLY (!), i have found someway to voice my words!...thank you!.. i have signed the online '' I COMMIT" petiton on the APF website. i also would like to be able to do more for this most deserving cause, i had some problems, with the easy to use tool kit, should i go back to this site and try again, MR. Rowe? i have had chronic back pain, due to a driver who did not STOP at a STOP (!!) sign, she hit me as i walked across the street. since then, i have tried different drs , different pain clinics, injections, discogram and just recently, radiofrequency ablation , pain medication amongst other procedures, albiet surgery. we so need to take "chronic pain" off the backburner, so to speak, and to put this right in FRONT of the eyes of the medical ass.! we NEED to have our voices heard!! to demand that we be take notice of! i hope everyone joins in to sign the petition and to do whatever else they can , to be heard!! thanx, cindi

I am an advocate with the National Patient Advocate Foundation. I have just joined and will be doing my best to make sure as many people know about these activities. I am very proud and hopeful to help as many people as I can.
