    Hello Rob

    It's nice to meet you.

I think of all the overlapping symtoms of Chronic Pain/Chronic Illness is that sleep disturbances seem to haunt us all.  And it's actually the very worst thing for our pain or illness.  Crazy huh?

Have you tried checking around over at Sleep Central for any additional ideas to help you sleep?? if not, I would suggest checking over in that section and see if you can find some new advice.  Just type "Sleep Central" in the search box at the top of the page and make sure it's clicked to search this site or Health Central and it will take you over to that section.  Just an idea.

When I'm having severe sleep problems and insomnia, I normally will go over and read some of the share posts and articles to see if I can find a new idea to try.  I've found several and sometimes they help out for awhile, or I can use them w/several other sleep rituals I go through to relax before bed.

Take Care, I hope you can get that 5-8 hours friend

    Betty

I came down with CVS BEFORE any one knew what it was in America.I found out what was making me feel so bad in Japan. Ambian worked well for me. However,I have got to to the place that I accept that no one has ever died from lack of sleep....so.......I don't go to bed expecting to sleep. If I do it's icing on the cake. I do all the things they tell you not to do, I watch TV - I read - play on my PC - sooner or later I will fall asleep. I think, FOR ME the expectation for sleep gets in the way of faling asleep. Hope this helps - Gloria
