After The Storm

Dealing with chronic pain is a way of life now. I have had to embrace it and accept it so I could move on. Some days are extremely hard to get through but I find my way through my photographs.

Several months ago I almost fell into the abyss of my pain...I recognized the moments that I could forget about it or more truthfully, distracted enough to not process it completely.  My doctor told me to find joy each day, doing something I could never do when I worked.  This "goal" has become a Godsend to me in dealing with the aftermath of a surgery that rendered my right hand, and now more, with Reflex symathetic dystrophy.  I look at photo's, and fill my mind with beauty and ears with music.  I highly recommend  it....I loved this photo!! Thank you.
