I am writing to warn everyone of what I was told yesterday. By the end of this year Margaret Hamburg who is Obama's choice for the head of the FDA, and the Nazi Doctor Sidney Wolfe will be removing ALL pain medications from the market. If one or two stay on the market she is going to close all but one manufacturer so that the price of the medication is out of reach for most of us, and will only be for the rich. Your records will be turned over to the FDA and they will prescribe for you. You will be required to sign a contract that you will have to adhere to or you will not get your medicine. The Nazi Doctor Sidney Wolfe advocates for you to die if you get diagnosed with something that requires long term medication, and he says that you should not expect to be treated but you should be ready to die. This is Obama's mandate that I personally warned people about, if he was re-elected that this would happen and no one believed me. Now the people who voted for him will get what they deserve, however, the rest of us have been thrown under the bus as well.

Regina, I don't know who told ou that, but it's simply not true. The FDA doesn't have the authority to do that. Please don't let such implausible statements upset you. There's simply no way that any such thing can or will happen.
Well like everything else in this Administration they don't let the rules get in the way. George Bush "went around" Congress 62 times in 8 years which set a record, until Obama. Obama has "gone around" Congress over 1200 times in four years, at the time of his re-election he had gone around 983 times. This is what Dictators do. He is taking tips from his buddy Chavez. 90% of what he has done is illegal and because of his color no one challenges him. It is funny though to watch the Dems in Congress pretend they don't know that he is bypassing them like they weren't there. Margaret Hamburg is his appointee and her "sidekick" is Sidney Wolfe who is a 1930's Germany throwback. He says that NO ONE NEEDS PILLS! You see if you are diagnosed with Diabetes then you should die, and not expect long term care which puts a drain on the health care system. One of the writers of Obamacare was Dr. Emmanuel and he said that we should be building Hospices and NOT Hospitals and telling people that it is ok to go ahead and die. Hamburg has already removed Darvocet-N which is the mildest, safest narcotic ever made and she did it in one day by telling the people voting on its removal that there was a ton of other stuff that Chronic Pain Sufferers could take, and she didn't allow any testimony from anyone who disagreed with her. Then she pulled Avastin which was a popular Breast Cancer medicine only some of the husbands of the Breast Cancer patients went public and got very loud and they had to give them hearings. One started a website called FAMeds.org. These Oncologists, patients, husbands all crying and begging for their medicine and the people representing Hamburg were yawning and bored! And oh yes she didn't bother to attend the hearings because she is removed from all the damage she does. She wound up removing the FDA's approval of Avastin which caused the insurance companies not to cover the cost of Avastin. The effects of the removal of Darvocet-N was far reaching, it caused thousands of MS and Lupus patients (just to mention a few) to lose their jobs, their homes, and sent them to disability. So you think that she can't shut companies down and remove all pain medicine? She can and she will. She is going to demand that over the counter vitamins and such go through the same approval process as a cancer drug, so this will put these people out of business or at least out of the reach of the poor. She reeks her havoc in the name of Safety and Concern for the public interest which is laughable, the millions of people she threw into constant pain by removing Darvocet she didn't give a rats fanny about them, and because we are Chronic Pain Sufferers and we take a narcotic everyday, no one would stand up for us because no one wanted to "look" like they were supporting narcotic use. The new commercials have already started, where they tell everyone that if you take an opioid then you are addicted and you should contact a website they give you for help. The message says very clearly that there is no good use for opioids, and she intends to take them ALL off the market. There are millions of people who take Opioids responsibly and they most certainly do help people. There are some people who abuse them but they are outnumbered by the responsible people, and so what to do then? Well, she will tell you that in order to keep a handful of people from abusing them it will be necessary to remove them all, in the interest of public safety. Car accidents killed 223 children last Wednesday alone so do we remove cars to keep the people who use cars irresponsibly from being able to do that? You cannot make anything safe, life is a risk from your first breath to your last, and NO ONE can make you safe. But it has been a wonderful excuse for those who seek to control you. I tried to warn people that if they re-elected Obama she would be on the rampage within the first month, and she is. My Doctor received a "visit" and was told all about these upcoming changes. So you say that I am wrong and only time will tell which is correct, but in the meantime that website that they send you to for Opioid help is a government run agency and once your name is on the list, you will be tracked, so stay away from it.

You really mix apples and oranges a great deal in your statements and comments. Do you even realize WHY darvocet was removed? Do you realize that a HUGE component in that was the fact that the manufacturer got in on the market before the current FDA approval procces, then NEVER followed up with any of the clinical trials necessary for approval? Look up "DESI drugs" sometime. Companies making those products had years and years to do trials to show the safety and get it approved, but they didn't do it. So it's really unfair to put them blame on the government.
I really don't want to get into partisan politcs with you, but gee, would you rather have had someone for President who is so out of touch with the "average" American that he thought it was clever to try to bet one of his primary debate opponents $10,000 on the air during the debate?
As for Obama and his plans, stop and think. Get real for a moment. NO American President can accomplish anything like this without the approval of the Senate and House. Most Presidents find their hands tied by a Congress full of fools who wouldn't have the slightest idea of how to live like any of us do because they've become so wealthy and spoiled.
Instead of posting long, ranting diatribes, why not find a proactive way to deal with issues that disturb you? Have you contacted your Senators or your member of the House about any of these issues?
Instead of screaming, "The sky is falling," why not try to do something about the issues that concern you?

I am so sorry for your Mother, adp. I am correct about what the FDA is intent on doing. I have researched this for a long time. I do get carried away sometimes just because I feel like the only person in a haunted house that actually sees the ghost. By the end of this year there won't be any narcotics available for anyone with constant pain. Hamburg is going to make people sign contracts to take pain medication and then run checks on them to see if they are violating any of the conditions of the contracts. This is Sidney Wolfes influence. Since Hamburg is Obama's appointee we were indeed hoping that he would not be re-elected so that we could get our Darvocet returned. Darvocet had no side effects and was a wonderful pain reliever, and just for the record there were numerous trials run for Darvocet, however, they never produced the bad results that the FDA was looking for so they wouldn't accept them. When Hamburg came on board she paid for her own study and it was no surprise that she got the results that she was looking for. She put it to a panel and they voted 14 to 12 to remove it from the market, and no one who actually took this medication was allowed to testify. Some of us who had taken this medication for 20 years was suddenly just out of it overnight. The MS patients that were thrown into constant pain begged her to let us sign a release form and have our medicine back before they lost their jobs and she never even responded. This isn't what the FDA was supposed to do, they weren't supposed to play politics with medication and take something off the market because they couldn't get the drug company to pay them money. We have a right to have access to our medicines, a man who was trying to save his wife from Breast Cancer started a website called FAmeds.org which stands for Freedom of Access to our medications. I haven't been there in a while but that sight might be able to help you. It is too bad that we have to beg an organization like the FDA for medicine that should be readily available and between us and our Doctors. Good Luck!

Patients and Doctors begged her to let the patients who were taking this medicine continue by signing a release form and she never even reponded. She believes she is all powerful and can do what she wants and she is correct. That is why we were hoping that he would not be re-elected so that we could get our medications back.
As for Obama it is in public records how many times he has gone around Congress, and it was a total of 983 at the time of his re-election. You mention Romney and his bet, and that disturbs you, however, Obama has paid millions of dollars to have all of his past records sealed from the people who voted for him. None of you know what he is, and he flatly refuses to tell you and openly tells you that his past records are none of your business but Romney's bet is what bothers you?
