What the Pain Took Away…

By Monique C. Monday, September 17, 2007

I need to write...

I need to write...

It's closing in and I need to write!

It wasn't supposed to end like this!

I had dreams, I had hopes, and I had a long future ahead of me...

It's closing in and I need to write!

I need to write...

I need to write...

Why me? Why now? My God it hurts so bad I can barely think anymore...

It's closing in and I need to write!

I need to write...

I need to write...

I'm only 35! I have 2 small children, a career to go back to, and a life to return to! NO!

It's closing in and I need to write!

I need to write...

I need to write...

Maybe if I write again, it will all go away!

Maybe this time it is just a headache, not a Migraine...

The PAIN! THE PAIN! THEPAIN!

It's closing in and I need to write!

It's closing in and I need to write!

I need to write...

I need to write...

...I...

...Need...

...To...

LIVE AGAIN!

BravoWhat a pleasure it is to read this poem. It tell it like it is to want to do something and have pain hold you back. I feel this way all the time. I was trying to fix her a la dance to put her vines on and I got up to get the mail from the mailman I trip and all most fall. It made my back start hurting again and I had to stop. It remind me of how many times I have been stop for one reason or another. My life is not bad by no means, it just change to a new route. I will let God guide me and put me on the right path.  Bless you for this poem it reminds me that I not alone in my pain.

BlushThank-you! Sometimes the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that I am not the only one too! It is always easier to suffer when you no longer have to suffer in silence because you are filled with the knowledge that there are others who suffer with you, beside you, and would do so for you.Innocent
