The endless path provided by poetry heightens our senses, sight, sound, touch and smell. It is the feel of texture, and all that is not present but is in the mind and knows no time. It is inner beauty, the wits, the conduit to the soul.
Poetry provides me with a way to journal, express and let go. It is one of my ways for dealing with the pain and fatigue of FM, CFID, myofascial pain and cervical spine degeneration. Lamb Hugs, Celeste Cooper

when i saw the heading of your comments, my heart skipped a neat. before i had any symptoms of dystonia, i was working on a project i loved. i had discovered that i had a voice suited to record poetry (or any written word). i wrote poetry as a young adult as well. a friend (online) taught me how to mix in background music to my recordings. i was peasantly surprised at the result. i then began a project of recording the psalms of the bible. in the midst of all this, my symptoms of dystonia began; i had to stop my recording as i could no longer sit at my pc for periods longer than 10 or 15 minutes because of the pain. little by little i learned to spend more time on the pc but then i noticed that the dystonia affected my voice; i have not recorded in over two years. have over 150 poems recorded in my file and 30 psalms. i pray that this voice thing is temporary so i can return to recording. only God controls that. if you would like to sample some of my reoordings you may do so at chirbit.com.
you see why the subject ibe os your comments made my heart skip? <smile>
enjoy your poetry... pain free!!!!!!!!
