I WON!!!

I WON my SSDI case!

Now I have to wait for the letter that tells me what my backpay is and my monthlly pay.

This is such a relief as we have been living off of my husband's SSDI for the past two years and found ourselves dipping more and more into the savings account.

Such a relief that I don't have to worry about this anymore.

I think I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my hearing for SSDI on June 11 and my lawyer says I won even though the judge didn't say anything. My lawyer believes this because the only questions the judge ask the voc rehab lady is 'is there a job that will allow me to take 8 breaks a day?' Of course she said no.
So now I wait for the official letter. But it sure sounds like I won. My RA is getting worst along with my OA and narcolepsy and fibromyalgia. It's getting harder and...

Got a JOB INTERVIEW TODAY--My first since being illegally fired.

After over 80 applications for the past 8 months, I finally got a job interview. And it's a great job and something I used to do at Ore-Ida. It'll be temp for about 2-3 months and if they like me, then I'll get offered the permanent position. The interview went very well. They seemed pleased with my answers. Well, basically what they were asking me to do was what I had done in my last two jobs. I...

It's Getting Worse

I suffer from not only fibromyalgia, but also osteoarthritis in my spine, hands, knees; carpal tunnel syndrome; chrondomalacia; migraines; sleep apnea; narcolepsy; GERD; DDD; bulging discs; and am extremely hard of hearing. I'm in constant pain and it is causing me lots of depression. I'm at the stage of my SSDI application where I'm waiting for an appointment to meet with judge. I can't deal with this pain as...

Lost Round Two with SSDI

Lost my appeal to my application denial on SSDI. They acknowledged my disabilities but still feel that an employer can accommodate my migraine issues and fibromyalgia issues and I can can continue to work as a computer operator. Well, I sure wish they would tell that to folks that I've applied for the 67 jobs to. I have had NO call backs from any of them. I've changed my resumes and had...

sigh... kinda down today. I'm so tired. I have so much to do but I hurt to much and am too tired to do them. Hubby is away visiting his folks and seeing the family doc since none of the family docs up here will take his pain seriously. I stay up way too late... past midnight. Yet I need to get up at six. I do aqua aerobics 3xs a week. Plus I've been doing a Biogenesys on my back to get...

Creating Peace

PEACE: It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. -- Anonymous

This is so true. Once you find the love inside of you, you stop being angry, you stop hating, you stop being jealous, you stop criticizing.

You become enlightened and automatically start loving everyone.

Lost My Job

My Dear Friends,

I lost my job Friday by my boss lying to me. She didn't care about my disabilities or the chronic pain I was in to try to meet her demands. She just chose to point out that I "lied" in my email about reports, which I hadn't. She is new and ignorant about the reports I do. I told her the truth. But she was obviously looking for ways to get rid of me. She was afraid...

Dateline: July 30, 2007 I fell at my former workplace on March 15. I didn't go to the doctor because I thought it was just a simple fall and I would be fine. I iced my knee and elevated it and waited for it to stop hurting and heal. It never did. It caused my whole body to hurt for the longest time. I've been doing aqua aerobics and that helped. But it still hurts .My...
