Poem written before last 4 surgeries. It reflects hope: Diaphenous woman with tender words

By jerry hesch Thursday, September 20, 2007

your timeless cantabile

whisper it away

and bury this catafalque of pain

Go to the pond

beyond the reflection

of the oak

effortlessly cluster words

along your vibrant canopy

salvation whispered

apportion your diaphanous water

on parched tongues

so we may partake

salvation with thy holy viaticum.

Lull

the celestial language

whisper and conquer

this muted plea

take my trembling hand and lead on

waft away the gossamers

the muted mist

onto hope and towards the light

the light

and into the open

then

shadow the radiant light

so I can discern this image

your countenance

this reflection of divinity.
