Chronic nerve pain

Hi! I'm Renee. I have chronic low-back pain. Either an irritated or damaged nerve. Is there anyone else living with this?

Hi, I also suffer from chronic low back pain ( with left leg pain too ) I've had five lumbar surgeries and two nerve releases in my left leg. The scar tissue from the five back surgeries is encased around the nerve roots in my lower back so I have really bad nerve pain along with muscle pain and spasms. I know exactly how you feel with the nerve pain. Hope things improve for you. My pain is getting worse as time goes by. Winter really sucks. As soon as the cold air hits my leg the pain intensifies. Hi Scooter! Thanks for replying to my post. I'm sorry that you also have chronic low back nerve pain. My family wants me to go to the Mayo Clinic, however, I just don't feel that anything can be done for irritated or damaged nerves yet. I'm thinking about going to a neurologist and trying different medications that can calm down nerves. I take Klonopin which is the only thing that really helps with my pain. Anti-inflammatories don't work and I have tried Lyrica and elavil, but they didn't work either. I was also checking into pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) which is supposed to help with inflammation and pain, but they're so expensive. But, I've got to do something. I don't even have a back doctor anymore. TTYL, Renee

i have nerve pain too, i do not wish this on anybody the pain has hit me everywhere but the, abs & butt. this is the worse i have ever been in. and iam some what new here. i see some good feed back, i really need the suport. my husband suports me. good luck to everyone and hope you have a great week.
