I don't know what it's like to be healthy and strong and have it suddenly taken away. My own pain started when I contracted polio just after my 3rd birthday. Child abuse, accidents, overwork, etc. has taken a toll and I now deal with fibro, MPS, nerve damage, arthritis, depression, severe central apnea... I understand that I'm fighting a losing battle. These things will only get worse. So the idea is to try to slow the degeneration and learn how to better deal with the pain and disability.
It can be difficult to remain positive, but it does help to focus on the good things in your life and the things you can do, even if they're very small. If any of your doctors are not supportive, find new doctors. That can make a tremendous difference. Educate yourself on what's happening to your body. Pain is often referred, and it can't be relieved until you locate the real injury site. I'm assuming that the crushing injured nerves big time, and I know it can be difficult to find the spots that are flaring (I've got a lot of pain in my legs right now due to a pinched nerve's inflammation in my back, problems in hands, arms and shoulders due to nerve damage in neck). Don't let docs just put you on narcotics and ignore you.
If you haven't seen a pain specialist, please do. Most docs aren't trained well in pain management. There are LOTS of treatments they can try. You might also consider water therapy if you've only had regular physical therapy. It got me walking again after 8 hospitalizations last year, and I met lots of people with various problems who were also making great progress.
My heart goes out to you: you're young and have sustained a shattering injury. I hope there are still things you haven't tried that will give you some relief.
