I am a systems analyst by profession. I am considered by some to be a "gay rights activist" (although I have yet to hear a coherent definition of this term), and I enjoy writing about gay equality in the US and the UK. I suffer from Marfan syndrome; in my case, expression is severe and includes osteoporosis, an ascending aortic aneurysm, severe back pain (spur formation, multilevel annular bulges, Schmorl's nodes, facet joint arthropathy, desiccation, disc compression, levoscoliosis, bone marrow signal changes indicative of fatty degeneration, etc.), severe osteoarthritis, bone infarcts above and below the knees, sciatica, TMJ, migraine headaches, a pectus excavatum, skeletal abnormalities, and other indicia of Marfan syndrome...
