    Hello Dorothy

It's really nice to meet you and Welcome.

It seems to be pretty common with those of us who suffer with Chronic Pain & hidden illnesses to be asked for a phyc evaluation, it's just a way a doctor can check to make sure that's it's not just depression or due to any other mental illness that your experiencing pain.

I know it can be very insulting and make a person angry as heck, but I've had one and it really was not a big deal at all.  Once I got over the initial feelings of insulting & resentment, I realized that having a mental health professional tell my other doctors that I was a normal woman who by my body launguage & facial expression is in a great deal of pain, and possibly slightly depressed because of it and not the other way around.  So it ended up being validating what I was tell them.

Your post was short, so I was not sure if this was what you were saying or not, but Welcome its really very nice to meet you.

    Hugs

    Betty
