I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in january of this year. I had thyroid cancer in 09 and specialist said that the trauma may have brought on the fibro. Today i am currently 29 weeks pregnant and starting to suffer really bad. It is very cold up here in the north and it feels like when the cold hits my leg its immediate ache. I love my heating blanket even more know seems to be only thing that will help a bit. Where I am pregnant i dont dare to take anything and my new baby will have to have surgery once he recovers from delivery. He has tricuspd atresia. A heart defect, one that requires three surgeries. I have pregnancy induced carpal tunnel and havent felt my fingertips in two months. Now with the cold its really hard to work with. Im tired, have edema, a pinched siatic on right side and have been issued a cane, handicap tag for some help. My best friends are throwing a benefit for me and my newborn. My eldest whom is four is wonderful and the reason i have not given up..I hate this pain all the time and those who dont understand chronic pain judge in a small town but most are very compassionate too me. Love them all but i could use sometips on ....trying to help relax.
...i am hearing more about magnesium.anyone taking that for a supplement and i wonder if i cant take that while pregnant if working. gonna ask my dr. next week about that.
I would certainly appreciate any helpful recommendations....i am doing the electric blanket and hot baths getting a bit uncomfortable and hard to get outta tub with baby bump..lol
