 Doggy Lick Hi there dukesmom. My name is Susan and I have a lot of the same problems and lifestyle. I used to work for a group call Peaceful Kingdom. We would take animals from the shelters and work with them so that they could get new homes, this also help keep the shelters kill rate down. I have tried so much to get rid of my pain. Pray helps and finding away to get my mind off it helps. But there are meds and treatment site hook ups here to help. God luck and God bless you.

Hi Susan,

Thankyou so much for replying. I do know that prayer is good for people. I was born a Jew,but practiced for almost 40yrs.as a christen.I recently have gone back to Judiaism.

It is really imporant to know that someone knows waking up in pain and going to bed in pain is like!

I hope to be able to go online at night .And find someone to share with..

Thankyou again

CoolHi dukesmom!  Warm greetings from sunny Puerto Rico! (don't hate me) He He...

I am glad that you joined this group because in the few days that I've "become" I have shared with people with pain and to understand it (really) you have to feel it.  I don't know what is the cause of your pain but look up imformation, document yourself and visit your doctor.  You do not need to live in pain.  I don't want to bore you with options but if you do want them write back...my best friend is the heating pad!  Where I live the stray population is HUGE.  At one point in my life I had a total of 17 little souls in my home (We live in the country and have a lot of space)  I realized that by adopting every animal I found or found me, I would'nt solve the problem.  Most have died of old age , now I have 6 left; 3 cats and 3 dogs.  They are my kids since I don't have children and apparently will not have any (I'm 51).

Anyway, welcome and SHALOM!

Hello & Happy Thanksgiving!

Iam happy that you have a kitten, they are so amazing...anything "baby" is amazing to me.  Watching them developing their personality, growing, helping them learn and thrive.

I am a fan of anything written by Dean Koontz, I enjoy suspense, my favorite  TV show is on in a little while, Criminal Minds on CBS.  I love to read , I started as a little girl with The Nancy Drew mystery stories and grew into Agatha Christie and it's been a platform for my avid reading ever since. This I owe to my Mother.

I was born in Cuba, my father worked for an American pharmaceutical company and we moved to the States a month before the Bay of Pigs.  We lived in Long Island for seven years then moved to Puerto Rico in 1967.  I am planning on moving back to the States, not sure when.  I have a sister that teaches in Seton Hall University right there in your state which I visit from time to time. Saw Julia Roberts last year in an off-Broadway production Three Days of Rain with Bradley Cooper and Paul Rudd;

that was an interesting weekend because I got together with a friend from Pheonix who flew in to see the play with me.  We have been friends for 20+ years  and he used to live in NY so we were like native Newyorkers, visited other frinds and remembering our "roaring twenties".  It was like dancing to the hustle in Studio 54!

Signing off for now.  Be good, if not, be careful...
