I AM LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH OTHERS WHO HAVE/HAD TMJ AND DURING THE 80'S & 90'S MAY HAVE HAD IMPLANTS SURGICALLY PLACED TO REPAIR THE CARTLIDGE IN BETWEEN THE JOINTS, WHETHER BECAUSE OF INJURY OR DISEASE.
WE MAY BE OF SOME SUPPORT TO ONE ANOTHER AND IN MY YEARS OF TRYING TO LOCATE OTHERS WITH THESE IMPLANTS HAVE ALL BEEN MET WITH NO RESPONSE.

Tj, I too have TMJ. I don't have the vitek replacement but have had total of 18 surgeries done. There are some really good groups for support on yahoogroups.com as well as a new one on Google. I hope you can get the support you need. There are many suffering from the effects of this insidious disease. Hope this helps you some.
