Hi, I just got my pain pump within the last couple of weeks. How long did it take you to get it adjusted to where it really makes a difference. I so far have been adjusted a couple of time but am not quite there yet. thanks for your reponse. J

I have diabetic neuropathy of both feet and have gone throough all the meds the world has to offer, I am trying dilaudid injects to see if a pump will help, I was wondering if you did injections before the pump was installed? Have you had any problems with any side effects of the pump or issues with the pump itself??

    Hi, Phil..

My husband has been suffering from chronic back pain for some 20 plus years and has multiple back issues which after exhausting years of back doctors and pain clinics have finally been told he has no surgical options at this time and his doctor says in order to get him off as you call them the opiate pain meds is to put him on a morphine/methadone pump.  This is quite humbling to him and the thought is depressing as he thinks this is the end of the road.  But, we have heard from a couple of people that this type of pump gave them their life back versus the narcotic pills.  We are looking for a little insight here.. can you elaborte on the benefits and is it worth considering?  Do you have issues with driving a vehicle?  We have heard that can be a side effect.. nodding off while driving? Or any other negatives you could elaborate on?  Any feedback would be most helpful.

    Thanks

    K
