About Me

Chronic pain and undiagnosed tremors pretty much keep me bedfast. Also, I am confined to home, except for doctor visits. Sitting or standing for long periods (more than 15 minutes) causes excruciating pain. Have been taking Vicodin for a number of years. Was taking stronger dosage, but changed doctors and current doctor cut me back from 7.5/700 to 5/500 and down from 6 to 4 pills per day. He does not believe that I am addicted or abusing my medication. I am in constant pain, with no relief. Taking Vicodin brings me from 10 to 9 on pain scale. Violent tremors awake me from sleep. Even without tremors, I sleep for only short periods of time, perhaps 1.5 to 2 hours at a time. Doctor thinks I have muscular dystrophy and I am currently undergoing a battery of tests to determine what is causing tremors and weakness in limbs and muscle atrophy. Have had several serious falls, thankfully no broken bones. Allergies are: IVP dye, tape adhesive, ibuprofen.
