I have a pump in me currently that just has saline in it at the present. I couldnt get used to either morphine or dilaudid so they put me back on methadone for now. tolerate either one. I was on Methadone for 10 yrs prior to the pump being put in. So after many months of trying and going thru withdrawl from both methadone first, then morphine second, to get on dilaudid and that not working I had to go through withdrawl one more time to get back on the original dosage of methadone I had been on.
